This is more than a meal—it's a comforting journey through classic American flavors with the kind of heartfelt hospitality that leaves you looking forward to your next visit.
This would have been a five star review, except for the fact that they don’t do kids meals to-go. I really prefer this diner but I have two kids, one is a toddler and the fact that they don’t do any kids meals to go is a HUGE drawback. It seriously is making me consider finding another diner, which is disappointing because the food is great. Also, the price range is incorrect- it’s definitely much closer to the $20-$30 range. Not terrible, but transparency us important.
First time at this diner and the experience was great! My family’s favorite diner closed some time ago and we have been looking for a place to have family breakfast on the weekends. The coffee was so good breakfast had great flavor and everything tasted so fresh, place is nice and clean, service was good as well. Waiting time wasn’t bad. My dad was so happy! Definitely coming back :)
Today was my first time visiting this diner due to my normal diner being completely full the place is very nice. The staff was friendly and very fast. They had a great selection on the menu. I had my heart set on some fresh squeezed orange juice, and they did not have that at this diner. My son enjoyed his meal, which was a burger & fries, I believe he had a Philly burger. I decided to get scrabble, over easy, eggs, toast, and home fries(I thought the menu stated they were red potatoes, however, they were shredded potatoes, and I dislike those potatoes the most). so out of everything that I ordered, I only eat about 10% of the dish one egg some of the scrabble which by the way, it was so tasteless I was highly disappointed and still hungry, but my son was satisfied. I will go back to try something else because everything else was cool as far as the service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and a very large selection of sweets!
Enjoyed a nice lunch on our way back from Philly. The Legacy Diner is large, accessible with tables a booths. We were warmly greeted and our waitress was attentive. Our food came out fast and everything was very good! The split pea soup was outstanding. Extensive menu, lots of vegetarian options, and generous portions. Plenty of parking.
All the customers and staff were VERY nice and polite. We enjoyed, pancakes, waffles, chopped beef and gravy, quesidilla.
This was my 1st time visiting and I wasn't impressed with my food however, the service was great and I'd come back again to try another dish. I had the chicken parm and the pasta was overcooked. However, the chicken, marinara, and cheese were perfect and I kind of wish I had ordered the sandwich instead. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad and dinner roll which I ate so fast that I didnt even get a picture lol. The place is clean and service is friendly. I'd recommend trying it for yourself. Also, great playlist
We stopped here for a sporadic brunch date as we've passed by so many times before. We were highly impressed with the timely manner of the staff, how quickly the food was being brought to us, and our waitress for her positive vibe and for checking in to make sure we didn't need anything else. I had the strawberry and raspberry crepes -they were delicious! I'd definitely get them again. My husband ordered chocolate chip banana pancakes, which he loved but ended up bringing a lot home as it was huge! (+a side of sausage) Overall, food was good-We'd go back again!
I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews but I was impressed with legacy. Food, service, prices, portions all excellent. Truly the epitome of a diner experience. Our server was great, I forget her name but she was telling us about how she used to own a Mexican restaurant, she was awesome. I’ll be coming back every time I’m in town for sure.
